How does this site work?

1. In the webshop (Kitty Shop) you can search for a kitten that suits you.

Also look at the number of Kitty Stars, this says something about the habits of the breeder and about the first months of the kitten's life.

2. With most kittens there are several options to choose from, such as whether or not to have a pedigree: This influences the final price of the kitten.

3. If you go to your shopping cart, you can enter your details there. Depending on your place of residence, transport costs will apply.

4. Don't forget to select the Add-ons, for example vaccinations, a microchip, a European passport, and other documents that you would like to have with the kitten.

5. After you click on 'Place order', you will receive a purchase contract by email as soon as possible, which will include the details of the kitten and the guarantees you have. You can sign this and email it back (not required, the guarantees will be applied anyway).

6. As soon as you have transferred the transport costs to our account number (IBAN), we will prepare the kitten for the journey to you.

7. We will contact you for the transfer and any details or questions from our side.

What is the goal of this Platform?

Do the kittens have a pedigree?

If you want the quality of a pedigree cat, then you should only look for a kitten with 4 or 5 Kitty Stars.

Are all kittens on the platform 100% healthy?

The kittens offered on the platform must meet various requirements. This is checked by our back office. The back office consists of veterinarians and experienced breeders.

What are the transport costs?

Transport costs start at €100 (Netherlands). You will see this when you enter your place of residence in the shopping cart. Some comments about transport costs:

1. The transport costs must be paid before the kitten is delivered.

2. If you decide not to take the kitten within 14 days, the transport costs will not be refunded.

3. If you live outside the Netherlands, you will also have to add the Add-on with the international travel papers.

What is the birth date of the kitten?

The kitten is always between 8 and 15 weeks old at the time of sale. If the kitten is older or younger, this will be clearly stated in the text. You will be told the date of birth when you click on 'Place order' and you receive the purchase contract.

Are there guarantees for the health of the kittens after purchase?

Yes, kittens must at least have a health certificate from a vet and there are reimbursement schemes for medical problems after purchase. You can read more about this on the page about warranty.

I want to buy a kitten that is completely free of contagious diseases

A kitten gets worms via its surroundings and also via mother's milk. The normal deworming schedule for a young kitten is to be dewormed every 2 weeks by the breeder himself, for as long as the kitten can nurse from its mother. Unfortunately we cannot check if this is regularly done. A kitten offered on this platform has certainly been dewormed and deflead once. Our back office checks this. These treatments are included in the price of the kitten.
One option is to ask the breeder to do a test to be more certain that the kitten will not have endoparasites (endoparasites are all parasites in the intestine). This research is quite expensive, you pay extra for it. And it is still recommended that you deworm and deflea the kitten yourself after arriving at your home. You can order a good and safe product via our site, for both deworming and deflea treatment.

Are the kittens on the platform without parasites?

Have the kittens on the platform been vaccinated?

A kitten is normally vaccinated at 9 and 12 weeks of age. You can buy a kitten via this platform from 8 weeks of age and that is why they are sometimes not yet vaccinated or only vaccinated once. You pay extra for each vaccination. It is completely up to the buyer whether he / she wants to buy a completely vaccinated and therefore older kitten, or a younger kitten that has not yet been vaccinated. There are advantages and disadvantages to both ages.

You could do your own research on the web, or ask around, to find out what the ideal age would be for your situation to bring the kitten into your home.

We can ask the breeder to have the kitten tested for a large number of infectious diseases before sale. This could, for example, be the case for ringworm, FIP, FIV, FeLV. It is best to discuss the sense and nonsense of these tests with a veterinarian. Some of these diseases never actually occur. and some of the tests are useless or not possible in a small kitten. The tests that the breeder has done for you will be charged to you.
